Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Demi Chef de Partie to join our Shawarma Section team. This position is ideal for a culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to excellence in food preparation and service. As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of Allo Beirut by preparing, cooking, and delivering top-quality shawarma dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food in accordance with company standards, ensuring the highest quality and consistency.
  • Manage and train commis chefs, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
  • Monitor portion sizes and waste control to maintain profit margins and reduce costs.
  • Participate in the training of junior staff members, ensuring continuous improvement and skill development.
  • Guarantee that all food preparation and delivery adhere to operational methods and hygiene regulations.
  • Ensure constant cleanliness and proper maintenance of kitchen equipment before and after service.
  • Rotate and manage stock to maintain optimum conditions and freshness.
  • Prepare Mise en place timely and ensure it is always fresh and ready for service.
  • Support and actively participate in team activities, assisting in additional duties as required.
  • Attend training courses or seminars to enhance skills and knowledge as needed.
  • Immediately report any potential or real hazards to upper management to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the culinary industry.
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in preparing traditional Lebanese shawarma.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and train junior kitchen staff.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
