Position Overview:

The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and a safe working environment. This role is crucial in maintaining our high culinary standards and delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Lebanese cuisine, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Develop and execute menu offerings that align with the restaurant’s Lebanese theme and customer preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage costs to optimize profitability.
  • Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to guarantee the highest standard of food.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to kitchen staff for continuous improvement.
  • Address any operational issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to service.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a restaurant setting, preferably with Lebanese cuisine.
  • Proficiency in Arabic; English language skills are preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary techniques.
  • Familiarity with food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
