Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Runner to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth and efficient service. As a Runner at Amar Restaurants, you will be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring that our guests enjoy a seamless and memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages to guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Assist in preparing dining areas before service and cleaning up after.
- Address guest requests promptly and ensure their needs are met with a smile.
- Uphold Amar Restaurants' standards of service and hospitality at all times.
- Support servers by running food and drinks, refilling water, and removing used dishes and utensils.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Stay informed about menu items, specials, and any changes to ensure accurate communication with guests.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English is essential.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is an advantage, but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods.
