Position Overview:

As a Waiter (Chef de Rang) at Samkit Al Khawaja, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests receive the highest level of service. Your expertise in Lebanese cuisine, particularly in a fish restaurant setting, will be instrumental in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for our patrons. You will be responsible for managing your section with precision, efficiency, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
• Manage a section of the restaurant, ensuring smooth operation and coordination with kitchen staff.
• Present and explain menu items, particularly fish dishes, with enthusiasm and expertise.
• Take accurate orders and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and resolve any issues with professionalism.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and workstations.
• Assist in setting up and clearing tables, ensuring readiness for new guests.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold high service standards and create a positive work environment.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while maintaining impeccable personal grooming standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Waiter in a Lebanese restaurant, specializing in fish dishes.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, with excellent communication skills.
• Resides in or near Batroun, with the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong knowledge of Lebanese cuisine and an ability to passionately convey menu details to guests.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
