Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to lead and inspire our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for culinary excellence, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of food quality, and fostering a collaborative atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, promoting a culture of teamwork, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and implementation of seasonal specials.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage kitchen budgets, optimize resource utilization, and minimize waste.
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts within the kitchen team promptly and effectively.
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new kitchen staff, fostering their growth and integration into the team.
  • Implement and uphold hygiene and sanitation standards, conducting regular inspections and audits.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Supervisor, Sous Chef, or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Arabic is required; English language skills are preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and culinary techniques.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
